THONG LOR​ Market Overview​

‘Thong Lor’ is the name of the area in Soi Sukhumvit 55, which is a neighborhood in Watthana district, Bangkok. As there are a lot of Japanese people living in this area for a long time, it is also known as “Japanese Town”. This area was not popular until 2010, when condominium market in Asoke began to saturate. After that, the demand of land in Thong lor continuously increase until now, and it is still growing.

Today Thong Lor is considered to be the trendiest area with a lot of hippy hubs, including restaurants, community malls, and entertainment. It is a popular hangout place both among Bangkokians and Tourists.
